Although slightly "faded" the hotel was very acceptable although teh A/c was a tad too cold for my liking. Travelling on business I need good WiFi or internet connection and their's was excellent value for money, good a/c - the comment above covers that and staff that only help when you need them, and the Tiara's people did that. A hotel this size should however have an airport shuttle service

Good location. Near the airport and also Sun Plaza. Shuttle provided to Sun Plaza but I did not use and if you dont mind walking 300m along dusty poluted main road. Staff are polite. Buffet breakfast is ok. Dissapointment was I booked a double bed but was given twin. Security is good. Will stay again if ever I visit Medan.

The facilities were bad, the swimming pool is at the club house and the spa was teribble. If you like to be in the middle of town then i guess the location is ok. The food was very bad. In my opinion, if you are taking kids, i will not recommend this hotel. I will rate this hotel as a 2 or 3 star hotel, therefore, the current pricing is very high.

Good hotel, close to the airport a good stopping place for trips starting at Medan. Close to the Sun Plaza (about 400m) which is good for shopping and getting out of the smog of medan.

Positives : Newly carpeted rooms - nice and comfy ! Acceptable level of security Big Medan map for reference at reception Nice food choices Good location Polite staffs Negatives : Lift broke down - some guests got trapped !! Used restaurant lift instead. No attention to First In First Out during check-in. Anyone can barge in and cut queue.
