This property is out of town, but bus service is always good in port. Room was clean & has aircon in living & main bedroom upstairs. Needs new furniture & some TLC, but the price was right for a one night stay. Pool was very well manicured & kids loved it.

We booked 2 x apartments (3 people) but we were put into one 2-bedroom apartment. The apartment needed a good clean, cobwebs, toilet running water all night, powerpoints were green in the holes, door didn't slide properly, cigarette ash all over the patio when we arrived.

I did not lay eyes on any hotel staff the whole time I was there. The unit was like a sauna; downstairs air con ineffective, upstairs air con in main bedroom worked well but did nothing to cool the second bedroom which had only a noisy fan. The unit was poorly maintained and at least 3 lightglobes were not working. Thank god we only had 2 nights booked! It was about 5km from Port Douglas CBD. It was certainly not worth the money we paid ($175 per night for 2 bedroom) and certainly not worthy of its 3.5 star rating. Very disappointing.

Very nice facility, friendly owners. Setting in wet tropical gardens, with very comfortable beds and amenities. Love this place! Will definitely stay there again!

The proprieter was so friendly and helpful, she was everything that one could wish for as the front of house contact. The unit itself was large, clean, airy and a lovely back courtyard.
