Three Crowns Hotel Prague
4 out of 5

Very nice hotel located in a quiet part of town. Within a reasonable walking distance from metrostations (Flora and Florenc) and the city center, Praha 1. Staff was helpful and they gave me a pretty good map of Praha for free. They also gave me a 3 person room for the price of single, which was nice. Free wi-fi in the room also. Overall a pleasant and relaxing hotel.

Good location: only a few minutes' tram ride away from city centre. Helpful and friendly front desk staff. Room basic but clean. Breakfast average.

I enjoyed my stay here. Room was run down but it was clean and huge. If you're after English tv you won't get it but soak in real Czech & German! Complimentary buffet breakfast was good too. I would stay here again. Good value!

The room was clean, bed nice, bathroom ok. However, the nights in July 2007 were VERY hot, there was no a/c, not even a table fan. I was able to keep the ceiling windows open, but then the street noise was audible. In addition, there were noisy people drinking and smoking in the lobby just in front of my room. But the price was right, though, considering that it included a good continental breakfast buffet - no local specialities, however :-(

Great hotel for price and cleanliness. The rooms are bigger than average hotel rooms in Europe. The staff are firendly and attentive. The location is a bit far from the Old Town Square but you can take a tram ( 3 stops) to the Centrum. It costs only 7 crowns oneway to the Centrum. I would hoghly recommend this hotel to anyone in any age group. The breakfast buffet is excellent. It is open until 11am. That's what I need after late night partying in Prague.

Good clean hotel. Location reasonable but would say it's a good walk into Prague,we used the trams. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling on a budget as it offered good value for money and was brilliantly clean.

Not extremely exciting, but price is good. Location a little bit outside centre of Prague, but still in walking distance. Also trams to city are available close to hotel.

The Hotel is well placed for a Tram into the centre (15 mins) The breakfast was fine with a reasonable choice. The staff all spoke excellent English and were helpful. They have a secure deposit box system for valuables. I would go again to this hotel for the price and the transport connection into the city.

Hotel rooms are big and clean. Breakfast is great. The price is excellent. I've been to Prague three times and stayed at this hotel twice. The hotel has its own transportation and the gentleman speaks comprehensible English. He can drive you anywhere at a decent price. Far less than the regular taxi. If you want to save money, walk about 300m to the tram station. It's only 3 stops from Wenceslao square. From there you can walk to Old town square, the Palace, Charles Bridge, and Jewish museum. Bear in mind you cannot buy a ticket from the tram station or the from the tram driver. You can get this only from the automated machine at the Metro station. It's only 8 CZK oneway from hotel to the Wenceslao square. That's not even 50cents US. Restaurants are around the hotel. Traditional Czech restaurant, next door from hotel, Chinese and other restaurants just around the hotel. Great find for budget conscious travellers. I highly recommend this 3 star hotel
