The hotel is located about 25 minutes walk from the university on the connemara side of the city. It is very convenient if you are travelling by hire car, but not if you wish to get around by public transport. The staff are friendly, and the rooms are spacious and recently renovated. The breakfast is a cut above the usual irish hotel breakfast, but there are no fitness facilities whatsoever.

great hotel. room was clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend it to friends. Only problem was the distance to Galway city center. It was at least a 20-30 minute walk, so taxis added up.

I rated the cleanliness as average because everything was spotless except for the carpet in the bedroom. It was badly stained beside a chair . The side of the chair was also stained. It looked as if something had been spilled and not cleaned afterwards. I emphasise that the rest of the bedroom etc was perfect. We stayed in room 206
