Staff was courteous and friendly. Room was clean when we arrived but housekeeping didn't' show up until 4pm the next day and we turned them away because the kids were sleeping. I personally don't need my room cleaned everyday but some people look forward to that. Overall great experience at the Westin.

Reception desk staff needs to be better trained, very helpful concierge service, good, clean rooms. BUT not very good value for the money

We were allowed to check-in early, no fee charged. Bed was super comfy!

The Westin rooms are elegantly appointed, well provided with everything necessary, including wireless internet access (for a fee). The location is within easy reach, by foot or metro, of all the important downtown tourists sites, and the neighborhood is rich in restaurants, cafes, and outlets for quick, low-priced eat-in and take-out fare. The staff, as my rating notes, is perfectly cheerful, helpful, and polite. Although the price to stay there is not low, it's also competitive in a very high-priced town.

I stayed at the Westin in DC for the American Psychological Association conference. I have stayed at other Westin hotels but I was very impressed with the staff that took care of my care and always opened the door for me. Everytime I left the hotel they asked whether or not I needed directions to places I was going. Wonderful, friendly service was my experience. The hotel as usual was wonderful.

Hotel was clean, love the non-smoking - "the Westin scent" was like a spa everywhere. Decent location, but staff was not overly helpful with recommendations for area.

The hotel is very nice and is within walking distance to the White House. There are restaurants around, so you can go without a car. i would recommend this hotel!

Luxurious environment and very helpful conceirge. For the money...disappointed that internet access was a charge while less expensive hotels or Starbucks provide it free??

Very central location, staff were friendly, and the room was very large and comfortable, perfect place to rest after a long day at the Smithsonians!!

I stayed 3 nights at the Westin. The rooms are spacious and have a desk with a comfortable office chair. Some rooms have windows towards the street, others face the reception hall (no natural day light). WiFi is reasonably fast but 10 USD until noon or 20 USD for 24h is expensive. Try to get a free voucher, if your reservation includes WiFi on the booking form. Breakfast is not included if you book on [this website].

I booked on [website] and stayed several nights at the Westin due to proximity to work. A corner cafe and CVS store are close. Rooms are spacious, bed comfortable, linen crisp and clean, coffee maker with Starbucks coffee in the room, AC adjustable and not noisy. The only shortfall in my view is that the shower is in the bath and the showerhead cannot be detached. Albeit overall a good hotel, I wouldn't stay there privately because I think it's over-priced. Neither breakfast nor WiFi was included in the rate.

I stayed in 10th floor and the spacious room had a window facing the road. It was quiet and very clean. The taxi from Union Train Station was 8USD. Walking distance to Washington Monument and White House (15 minutes). No pool at the gym and no hotel slippers are provided. No points earned if booked through internet, for example on hotelclub.com. Overall a good place to stay.

We stayed at the Westin to have the luxuries and conveniences of the Westin Experience. The location of the hotel is great, walking distance to the White House and museums. The front desk and 2 of the 3 concierge's were very helpful. One of the concierge's acted like we were bothering her when asking questions about out scheduled tour that was running late and then asked us to move in an unfriendly way because we were blocking her view of the street. The rooms were nice as expected, but we did not have a good view- a dumpster was below.
