As far as I paid all the stay and that is not reimbursable, is there any possibility of postponing the stay for a future date (not very remote)? Tks espers2@gmail.com

very luxurious near brandenberg gate and in the heart of the very expensive shopping area (rolex , cartier etc), attentive staff always helpful. But breakfast far too expensive and have to pay for internet 20 euro for 90 minutes (and their internet is so slow it uses up a lot of time loading etc) unlike may of the 5 star hotels I have stayed at all of over the world. Beautiful rooms and marble bathroom, view over street isn't great, concierge service wonderful. Like so many of these hotels you can't make tea or coffee in your room which even the cheapest motels have. You have to use room service or go to their lobby and pay a vast amount for it.

Great location but service was spotty at best. No one to greet you at the door, dishes were not picked up from room, and the entire hotel smelled like dog excrements.

The location of this hotel was near perfect for us. The main entrance is just off Friedrichstrasse, a block away from Unter den Linden and within steps of the Franzosische Strasse subway station. The hotel itself is beautiful & the staff was at every level pleasant and helpful. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was not included in our package, but there are of lots of places to get food & drink. The area is tony, with many high-end shops, and it is within easy walking distance of the Brandeburger Tor, the Reichstag, the Holocaust Memorial, the Gendarmenmarkt, Checkpoint Charlie & plenty more. There is a grocery store in the Friedrichstrasse train station, & all the local restaurants we tried were very good. By international standards, this place is a supreme bargain.

Excellent hotel, with excellent service. The location is strategic when you visit Berlin. The restaurant is not worth the investment. The breakfast is horribly expensive although one of the best I ever had. There is no real quite place after the sauna except the swimming pool area (not the the same clothing policy and more noisy)... but here I am looking for the details... Finally if I ever had to go back to Berlin, I will pick up the Westin one more time without hesitation.
