The Westcliff Hotel Johannesburg Guest Reviews
This hotel is truly elegant. The rooms are tastefully decorated and you feel like royalty in them. The hotel complex is located high up overlooking the city. I would recommend having your meals here as well - the high tea was just as good as in Betty's in York. It's worth every penny, but shop around for a good price.

What an outstanding hotel this is! minutes away from downtown J'burg, but far enough away to feel very safe. Location - set on a hill overlooking the Zoo where the elephants could be seen from our room...super. The service was second to none and the standard room which came with the outstanding room rate - was anything but standard! Food in all eateries was excellent. We look forward to returning to the Westcliffe again.

We had a wonderful stay at the Westcliff. The staff and facilities were excellent. We would most definetly recommend this hotel.

Superb all round. Large bedrooms and suites with huge dressing and bath rooms. Excellent service with plenty of help getting around the village complex. The evening meal in the restaturant was first class, accompanied by tasteful live music (Classical guitars). Highly recommended. Follow the directions carefully; we got lost on the way, and getting lost in Joburg can be a bit scary. I would recommend the trip to Soweto, organised through the hotel, as a thought provoking contrast to the luxury of the Westcliff.
