The Waterfront Beach Resort, A Hilton Hotel Guest Reviews
Booked 3 days, 2 nights with my family here for our vacation. I was really looking forward to our stay here. The first 2 nights I was sleeping in bed my 2 year old son and I could not stop itching. I figured maybe the sheets were not washed properly or allergies? The day we were leaving, we still itched occassionally, but I was busy packing to head back home and didn't realize to look at my skin or my son's skin until after we departed. It was cold that day, so we were dressed in pants and sweaters. During our drive back to Arizona, I realized that my son and I had bumps all over our body and feet. I'm a healthcare provider and knew right away these are due to bed bug bites. We never encountered anything like this. I became extremely concerned about this because it is a serious infection control issue and bed bugs can travel inside luggage and clothing when people travel. Needless to say, I ended up tossing all our clothing and luggage bags away because I did not want to risk bringing these bugs into our home. I have spent countless hours these past nights itching myself to death and my son has been crying because he cannot stop itching. We were on the 11th floor and I am positive that these bugs are rampant throughout the hotel. Management was rude stating they have never encountered this before. Maybe to those that don't have a medical background or much knowledge about this matter, they may not bring this to the hotel management's attention. I can' t imagine they would be honest in the first place and admit that they have encountered this problem in the past and publicly announce it to former guests. The remainder of my week's vacation is going to be spent in oatmeal baths, and repeated applications of calamine lotion and hydrocortisone ointment. I hope this horrific rash clears up soon! This experience has changed my perspective of long distance traveling and hotel stays. I will avoid staying in hotels as much as possible from now on.

Very good trip overall. Easy check-in and check-out. The rooms are very comfortable and have a great view of the beach. But most importantly the bed was awesome. I would definitely stay again.

Everything about this exclusive resort is wonderful...except one thing. They charge $24 per day for parking. That's $1.00 for every hour you're there!!! Round the clock. And you have no other parking options either. With as expensive as this hotel is it seems they could reduce their parking rates a bit.
