Love staying at the Village in the winter because of its central location and friendly staff. Whether you want to stay in and relax, head up the gondola and hit the slopes or venture out to the nearby shops and restaurants; it's all right there! The Village is fantastic.

The accomodations were excellent and the location is perfect for those wanting to stay in town where all the action is. Restaurants and shopping are all right there and the lodge provides transportation to skiing. Transportation to Yosemite is also available.

It was obvious from the moment we arrived this hotel and the location was meant to be booming during the winter months. There wasn't anyone around and most of the business were closed. The room smelled funny because no one had stayed in it for a long time. We had to have the staff come light the pilot light for the gas fireplace as the weather dropped to 35 degrees. The whole time we had the fireplace on it smelled because it too hadn't been used in a long time. I think the price I paid was to much for what we got. If I was there for winter sports, the 1 bedroom condo with full kitchen would be perfect!

Very nice and convenient place to stay. I really recommend the place. Staff was also very friendly and helpfull, except the person who did our check in who was particularly agressive and unfriendly, probably due to the fact that we are foreigners given that her attitude was different with other guess- I have to say that it was our worste and unique bad experience during this trip!
