The Surrey Hotel Guest Reviews
We were surprised at finding an olde English hotel in the suburbs of Auckland, however it lived up to its four star rating. The rooms were beautifully furnished and the bathroom of ample size. We ate dinner in the restaurant and were pleasantly surprised at the quality and value for money. Breakfast was not included and parking was a bit restricted but in general it was a pleasant stay.

Room sizes are good but could seriously do with an update. Useful mini kitchen. Good location for Grey Lynn and very walkable. Good parking. Very close to great cafe and restaurant. Never used Hotel Restaurant, much better choices nearby.

We enjoyed our stay and found all the staff with whom we had dealings extremely helpful. Free broadband internet was excellent. We had to leave very early in the morning and our continental breakfast was delivered to our room the previous evening. Free transport to and from the airport was on time and most efficient.

We found the staff very welcoming and friendly. A very pleasant place to stay,wish we had had longer.
