Having been told someone has checked into my room already was a bit of a surprise as I was travelling solo - ahh just a computer error... went to use my in room safe - mmm not working sorry sir no maintenance staff on duty. wanted to watch a movie - have to ring reception to unblock movie channel - sorry sir its the movie company's fault movies are not working. the tiling in the bathroom looks like its was patched up by a five year old and certainly not looking like a 1 star hotel standard let alone the standard claimed of this hotel. BUT the staff were extremely professional and made the stay bearable. Seems like the company which owns the establishment are skimping, lucky they have good staffing otherwise it would be a disaster.

A pretty decent place to stay. Close to the attractions of Surry Hills and very easy to get to, being almost next to Central Station.

Everything was excellent, except for the air-con system being a bit noisy . It would wake up a light sleeper.

Very nice hotel, great location and lovely rooms. The staff were very friendly & helpful, some of the best service I have ever recieved.

Reception staff extremely friendly, helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Nothing was a bother to them. Room nice and clean, plenty of room for two and quite quiet. Very good location for Central Station and free Shuttle bus. Would stay again.
