The Scotsman Edinburgh Hotel is located on historical North Bridge, steps away from Edinburgh Waverley rail station, which links the city to the rest of the UK. Edinburgh International airport is just 20 minutes by car. The property is surrounded by the excellent shopping facilities of Princes Street and George Street.

The staff was great, the room was awsome, and the location could not be better.

The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive and really make the hotel. The location is central to all the main attractions - limiting the need for taxis. The only negatives were that the bed was small, the room was hot and internet access was a separate charge. Expect old world charm.

This hotel is in a fantastic location in the centre of Edinburgh. The quality of the rooms and service from the staff certainly were as would be expected of a 5* hotel. I had a really comfortable stay here and would certainly return again without hesitation. It also has a free spa and pool for guests- although I did not have the time to try them.

Superb location right in the middle of Edinburgh. Room was great. Staff were helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay there again.

I can't fault the hotel at all. Service was exceptional as was food. The only grumble I would have is the noise from nearby North Bridge but that might depend on which room you are staying in. I would definitely recommend the Scotsman and look forward to going back.
