The Russell Hotel Sydney Guest Reviews
An amazing greeting and informative with what to do and where to go. Comfortable bed was so good I opted for a sleep in rather than the complimentary breakfast. Asked for their card and will probably use The Russel Hotel as a base for my next planned visit. thanks guys

Quaint hotel located in The Rocks, Sydney. Location was absolutely perfect for my needs, spacious room and friendly staff. Nice hearty breakfast included, and later than standard checkout. Enjoyed the stay, and would stay again. Only downside is that renovations were / are taking place, so was woken early to the sound of stone masons next door! But enjoyed the stay.

Great boutique hotel and location couldn't be better. Rooms were large and recently undergoing refurb. Don't take a room facing George Street unless you are a great sleeper because the noise is there until well into the AM hours. Good deals through Hotel Club but otherwise expensive.

Reception staff were most helpful and welcoming, the room clean and adequate. Dining room staff much less welcoming and in fact ended my experience at the hotel on a low note

I was looking for a "quaint" hotel but unfortunately the Russell Hotel was a disappointment with creaking floorboards, old furnishings, a broken window - really just an old, run-down hotel in need of refurbishing. The staff were wonderful however - obliging and helpful. The location was marvellous - so close to everything I wanted for the weekend.
