I have marked it down on Pricing as the hotel was under quite an extensive make-over when we visited. Although we were aware of the works the extent of them was somewhat surprising with the sound of machinery and scaffold view from room. This I believe should have maybe reflected in a reduced room rate, that being said I would use the hotel again.

Great visit. Probably the best breakfast served in a standard room for a very long time. Excellent service and friendly people.

The swimming pool and leisure facilities were very good.Hotel is located in a lovely setting and service was very good. The only negative comment was that the cooked breakfast was not very hot due to the fact that it was presented in a buffet style. However, there was an excellent choice for breakfast which helped to compensate for this.
