The Royal Pacific Hotel & Towers Hong Kong Guest Reviews
I like to stay here because of the excellent location across from Kowloon park, the Harbour city malls, and proximity to everything else in TST. If your focus is on Hong Kong island proper, then you can do better. When you get an upgraded room it's great, spacious and comfortable. When you get their ordinary rooms it is OK.

I booked this hotel because I was scheduled to take a ferry to China the next morning after arriving in Hong Kong. The hotel is right above the China Ferry terminal and is therefore very convenient for this purpose. The downside to being so close is the noise of the ferries entering and leaving the piers and the PA announcements from the terminal, all of which is very noticeable if you have a harbor view room even on the top floor and it can disturb your sleep. The rooms are being redecorated and modernized so try and get one of those if you can as the older rooms are definitely looking dated now. The restaurants are ok, nothing special. The breakfast buffet is good but service can be over efficient as if you leave the table to browse the offerings by the time you get back to your table everything will be gone and the table reset for someone else! The location is close to the main Tim Sha Tsui shopping district and the Star Ferry terminal to Hong Kong Island, both about a 5 min walk . By Hong Kong standards, this hotel is ok and provided you can book far enough ahead the price is acceptable for what you get and the location.

The stay was pretty alright, though there isn't much to be shouting about. Location is not too bad, good if you travel to china and macau frequently because it is just above the ferry terminal. Within distances are some pretty good and yummy restaurants, but u just need to walk. Room was pretty small, with a faulty shower (can't choose either running the water into the tub or using the shower head only, they both will run together), but it's typically hongkong to be having such small rooms (yet was expecting a bit bigger since the price we paid is not that cheap). overall a good stay, but nothing much to be ra-ra about.

Seems they have renovated this hotel since a few years ago. The rooms look great and are comfortable. Since the hotel was not too busy I think we received an upgrade - this part was not exactly clear. For Hong Kong standards the room and bathroom were big and very comfortable.
