The Royal Hotel & Leisure Centre Wicklow Guest Reviews
The first room we were offered was a smoking room but this was quickly changed to a compact room at the rear of the hotel. Car parking appeared to be a problem for a start but space was soon found in the adjacent car park for just 5 euros per day. The staff in all areas of the hotel were very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were very good and the dining room quite comfortable. We felt the hotel was good value for money.

The room we had was rather small. For 1 night stay it was adequate but I would prefer a larger room if staying longer. No toiletries supplied, just soap.

Perfect location for trips to the mountains and Dublin, good breakfast and friendly staff, standard rooms could be a litte roomier - but it's okay, very quiet at night, just around the corner from shops and a short stroll from the oceanfront

We enjoyed our visit. The Hotel is in an excellent location, on the main street, a short walk from the beach. we enjoyed the meals we had there. The pool and gym were great. On the down side they must have been short of cleaning staff, in regard to the hoovering of carpeted areas. It was quite noticeable.

My room had no soap. I asked on the Sunday, Monday and Tuesday and was told "they was a problem with delivery". I was given some small tablets. The staff were very helpful but one got the feeling there was another ownership change coming sood.
