Situated within Lake Tekapo township, The Residence is only three hours drive from Christchurch or Queenstown into the centre of the South Island's High Country. I was very impressed with our accommodation at the Residence. The apartment was clean & well appointed. The front desk staff were very friendly. It was great to be have internal access from the garage. My only criticism is that rooms are not serviced on a daily basis. Perhaps this could be made more obvious at the time of booking.

Beautiful freestanding villa type apartment, almost like a house, it is 2 storeys and very new when i visited. Would definetely recommend this place. Although it does not have lake views, it is within walking distance.
