We spent a week at the Pearl South Pacific. Beautiful room with a balcony overlooking the ocean. Nice sandy beach. Great food in the restaurant and cafe. Live music and 1/2 price happy hour drinks. Within walking distance of the village for groceries, shopping and more restaurants. Enjoyed golfing, kayaking and white water rafting.. Dive shop is across the street (no longer on the Pearl's premises) Only downside was the computer malfunctions.

Although the decor and presentation of this hotel is a 4* level the actual amenities and extras are really insufficient. The room was clean and presentable but there was no mini bar, no bottled water supplied and no-where within the hotel to purchase any. The hotel had no shop other than a boutique and 2 of the bars/ restaurants were closed. This hotel has the potential to be a top class hotel if they just concentrated on the smaller things that make a stay special. The breakfast was poor in comparison to any other 4* plus hotel. Saying that the staff were excellent throughout and could not have been more proficient at check in and check out.
