Location
The Palmer House is located on East Monroe Street, just a short distance from most of Chicago's most famous attractions. Guests have easy access to the Art Institute of Chicago, Buckingham Fountain and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.

My experience at The Palmer Hotel was wonderful! The staff was very friendly and accomodating, and the room was very clean. I am looking forward to going back very soon!

Room was a little small, but very well kept up...same with the bathroom. The beauty of the lobby, the historic ambiance and the location to the theatre district is hard to beat....we'll definitely return to the Palmer House.

MY GIRLFRIEND GAVE HER SON A BIRTHDAY PARTY HE TURNED 16 SO MY DAUGHTER ATTENDED AND SHE HAD A BALL THE HOTEL SUITE WAS AWESOME AND OUR ROOM WAS SMALL BUT NICE

My family and I stayed at the Palmer House Hilton for the weekend in Chicago. I chose the location because of the proximity to an event we were attending. I was informed that a hold for $51.00 dollars a day for incidentals automatically??? I did not need to use any extras and family meals were not there nor did we charge to the room. They then told me that my $38.00 per day self park would come of that. I asked for a renovated room because of reviews I had seen after booking the room and we still had peeling wallpaper in the bathroom and a very small room for 4 people. I think we paid for the shopping downstairs and the beautiful decor in the lobby. Staff were very kind and helpful. Watch the extras that normally come with paid reservation, they will get you.

The Palmer House has a picturesque lobby that really leaves a lasting impression on any traveler. The hotel had a spacious room with decent amenities. The pool was a bit smaller than we anticipated, but that's not what we came for.
