The rooms were a little shabby considering the price and the grandeur of the building itself.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Palace hotel in Buxton. The bedroom we had was very clean. The location of the hotel is excellent, very close to all the amienties of the beautiful spa town of Buxton. We did not eat in the restaurant in the evening but the breakfast we had was very good, lots of choice and good service with a smile. I would use this hotel again if we were to go again to Buxton.

The staff were superb, very helpful, friendly and professional. They are to be commended on their service. I would certainly recommend the hotel and would like to return.

Lack of facilities eg very hot weekend but no outside seating for during the day and non available to sit out in the evening . Lots of people felt yhe same way as we did. Evening menue was too much like a winter menue and was uninteresting making us go else where for our evening meal. Otherwise the hotel was first class
