The Old Chapel Inn Guest Reviews
The service and courtesy of the owner is some of the best I have recived this year and I have had to stay in hotels throughout the UK pretty much every week this year. She was superb as was her team. The only observation I had to make was regarding a leak to the shower unti which I pointed out at the time. I sincerely hope that all goes well for the Old Chapel Inn business, especially given the current economic climate.

Difficult to find as it is quite remote from the main road A38. Directions given need to include a sketch of the route to take. On arrival they had no details as to my booking and had to accept a different room (which in fairness was superior). This was a heavily discounted booking - at the full list price it would have been poor value for money.

I hope the hotel is listed and advertised better. This is one of the few hotels open during winter in Kingsbridge area not in Plymouth as listed. It took me long time to find a hotel in December. Even it was harder in January. This is a very stylish hotel. This is a pub but we can expect service almost like a hotel. The half of the inn was build renovating on old chapel built in 13 century. Many of the furniture are specially made to make look like old monastery. Facilities in each room varies. So make sure there is what you need. Each room is described well in their web site. I stayed in smallest room but good enough for just for myself. The room was well furnished with a desk, a chest, a closet. All in matching style. The garden with many tables was very nice. I am not sure about the quality of the arts they are using. I will leave to a more qualified person to make any comments on these. To me they were nice.
