Location
The North Garden Hotel is located right in the centre of downtown Beijing. There are lot of famous places around the hotel, such as The Tiananmen Square, The Wangfujing Street and the Oriental Plaza, a business building block. With the new classical architectural style and modern cultural atmosphere, the hotel always brings you a family and gardenlike feeling.

I have stayed in this hotel 4 time now & always enjoy it. It is very centrally located.....walking distance to many attractions & great shopping.....20 mins to the airport. Whenever I know poeple who are going to Beijing I tell them to stay at North Garden.

Extremely convenient location just off Íõ¸®¾®, and only about 100m up from ³¤°²´ó½Ö. Facilities got marked down because VPN access was blocked on the Internet connection.

The room I stayed in is very small but it was neat and relatively clean. The photos in the website is a little misleading as the hotel decor is very typically local (if you know what I mean). However, for the 'last minute' price I paid, I must say it is a very good deal considering the hotel is adjacent to the 5-star Grand Hyatt/Orient shopping mall and across from the 5-star Beijing Raffles Hotel. What more can you ask for? Not forgetting the famous 'walking street; Wangfujung and a 24-hr McDonald's is 1 min away from the hotel front door.

All hotel staff has poor command of English which generates multiple misunderstandings. Even at the reception desk (which is very slow in checking in and out procedures) the command of English is very bad
