Would stay there again. Only problem with location is if you miss the car park, due to one way system. Is in centre of city but did not have a problem with noise (Friday night, room on the fourth floor).

Very busy as several conferences were going on - there was no lounge space for me to sit in the morning. Also had a very noisy room - directly opposite the lift. Everything else was good - with friendly staff

Standard double room was small with no air con and the fan provided was little use. Buffet breakfast was good, but not great - lacked variety. Only one staff on reception at checkout time! However, hotel refurbished to a high standard - very very impressed. And best value in town - couldn't find another hotel at this standard in such a good location for that price. Would definitely stay here again for that reason only. Anywhere else is just an unnecessary waste of money given the small amount of time actually in the hotel (awake that is).

Although this hotel was booked in December we were put in a small attic room on the 5th floor this was not 4 star standard. The rest of the hotel was refurbished to a high standard but the 5th floor was only worth a 2 star rating. Very dissapointed as this was a special birthday treat.

Our room was battered and needed a re-furbishment. The bed bases had no valance and were dirty and stained, the carpet grubby. The sink in the bathroom was cracked and the bath sealant going black. The room itself was large and well equiped. The public areas were good and the breakfast excellent but overall not what I'd expect from 4* accommodation. Great location for Leeds station and shops.

Too hot in the room, no airco, only van which makes noise and is unhealthy!

A very well presented hotel, very modern and stylish in the foyer, bar and restaurant areas. The rooms are quite big, although we were in a disabled room (not by request) so only had a shower and a wet floor, not a bath. The staff are also attentive and pleasant. The downside is the Leeds one way system means you can quite easily drive past the hotel and it's not easy to get back. Oh...and £7.50 for a glass of milk from room service. That one was hard to swallow.

The only suggestion I would make is that a better effort could be made by staff to keep smokers OUT of the designated NO Smoking area

Breakfast is an absolute nightmare. They run out of food, many tables are left uncleared so if you are brought a drink it doesnt come with milk, a jug is simply taken from a used uncleared table. The standard rooms are in need of modernising.

On arrival very pleased with the hotel, all appeared clean and the staff were friendly and smart. Having arrived back in the room after a night out though we discovered the bedding was dirty - blood stained. The hairdryer didn't work so i had to go to breakfast with wet hair. Also the carpet in the room was filthy and the net curtains could do with a wash. When i informed reception about the bedding and hairdryer i was told they would inform housekeeping but no apology was forthcoming. Not very satisfactory!

Excellent Hotel except for 5th & 6th Floor (as at 7/11/06). These floors have not yet been refurbished (ongoing) and are where [your website] (and similar organisations) are placed. ie. currently a sub-standard room in an otherwise excellent hotel. Have complained to Hotel and received 'upgrade' offer if we stay again.
