The Merchants Hotel Manchester Guest Reviews
The room itself was fairly clean but the communal areas were very dirty and uninviting - especially the toilet and shower facilities. So much so that neither of us used the shower room during our one night stay. The service was equally poor, the staff deciding to ring up his friend half way through check in for a 5 minuite chat which he could have easily waited for us to finish to do. The whole hotel is uninviting, dirty and unfriendly. If I wasnt with my partner and extreemly tired from flying I would have felt very unsafe and not stayed at all. Id advise anyone to stay away from this hotel unless incredibly desperate - for the price off the room you could afford somewhere much better

My room was cold-the heating was not turned on.Also, there was not even a bar of soap in the shower
