My fiance and I vacationed here over new years eve and it was a very good hotel. Very clean and comfortable with great location in times square! We watches the ball drop right outside of the hotel also :)

My boyfriend and I went to NYC for 2 nights right before the New Year's Eve festivities began. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the rooms were very clean and fairly spacious (for a NY hotel), and the location was perfect! We were just a few walking blocks from Times Square, Rockefeller Center, shopping on 5th, and so much more! We would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Bed exceptionally comfortable and spacious, thermostat unable to cool room - maintainance can open windows on request.

My only compliant about this hotel was that we had to leave! Perfectly situated and perfect place to stay while visiting New York.

New York life is not spending time in your hotel room - if you are looking for great location and simple comfort with affordable prices you make the Manhattan choice.

Hotel was nice. It would have been great to have a chair to sit in but we got by just fine. Staff was very polite and helpful. We would stay there again. My friends called the hotel and got a lower rate than we got through Orbitz and their room was exactly like ours. We stayed there one year ago in April and the prices have increased dramatically. We were sightseeing most of the time so the room was used mainly for showering and sleeping.

you need to spend a lot of time wait the elevator to get up to your room and to get down, some times it take 5 minutes to get in (up & down). air condition is very noisily, bathroom courtain very damaged, room door to heavy to entrance and to exit. be careful if you try to bought theatre tickets with the old lady that is downstairs, she charges you more than a half in price per ticket for her comission.

The only thing this hotel had going for it was the location and the fact that there was a pool (which closed too early). Our room was not ready when we arrived 1 hour past the checkin time (arrived at 4pm). Once in the room, it was apparent that the tub was still dirty. I went and purchased a cleaner at a local store and cleaned it myself. The phones would not allow me to call down for cleaning service as they did not work. The air conditioner was not working. We set it all the way down to 68 and the coolest it got was 77 degrees. We purchased some aluminum foil and out ice in it from the vending machines to cool off the room. We asked 3 times for repair service and no one came during our 4 days there. The phones did not work when trying to call in-house services of any kind. If we needed something, we had to go down to the lobby and ask for it. Most of the time, it didn't happen. The TV service for purchasing movies in your room did not work. We could get local TV only in our room. There was no microwave or fridge. Luckily the internet connection did work- but was more expensive than other hotel ($14.95 per day). One of the elevators broke while we were there and security had to usher lines of people through the remaining 2 elevators. The pool was actually OK. The gym OK- but they did not have towels there and it was very hot in there. No one would fix the phone or TV either. Didn't bother eating in their restuarant. Will not stay here again. My kid did enjoy the pool and patio and it was convenient to get to the subway and attractions.

The location of the hotel is great. It's in walking distants of everything you want to see. Close to the theater district and Central Park. I have to mention the staff at the front desk was helpful and courtesy. So for the money this hotel is great and the price was good for a midtown hotel. Also, the swimming pool is amazing and also the sundeck is a nice touch.

We asked for two beds they only provided us with one. The room service cleaning was very poor. We were not given new towels each day.

Very old hotel. Bathroom very old and in desperate need of repair. No wifi in rooms only available in the lobby. No bell person(s) when we checked in had to bring luggage up ourselves. Rooms were not sound proofed and could hear everything happening in the hallway. My brother stayed in room near elevator and could hear it all night long. Elevator on our floor also had lights missing. Would not recommend staying in the hotel and would not stay here again.

We would recommend a stay in the Sheraton, it was very clsoe to Times Square and walking distance to 5th Ave. We also used the pool and gym and were very pleased with both

Great location and good-size room for the price considering that it's New York! Shame they don't provide complimentary bottled water (which I thought it's quite a norm nowadays with most hotels worldwide)
