The Madison is great hotel and I would recommend this place to anyone visiting the DC area. However, I had a huge issue with booking through this site! This site overbooked The Madison and had us move to another hotel. It was a slight inconvenience to us as my group selected The Madison for its proximity to our planned activities, but it was even more so to The Madison staff as they were scrambling to accommodate their guests. The staff was very helpful in providing us transportation to and from the new hotel, and offering a full refund. Again, I would recommend The Madison, but this site needs to fix their overbooking issues! Another surprising issue is that "this site" will not let me use their name in my review. It says I am using "inappropriate language"????

From the time of arrival to departure the staff was very helpful...they even found me, quickly, a shaving kit package that had been taken by airport security...they gave me information I required...etc

Location and price and comfort of the room were all excellent. Was there only overnight, so didn't really get to experience much of what it has to offer. Will definitely consider as an option on future trips. Only negative: there was no TV remote control in the room. Called down and one was delivered very quickly.
