The Lodge At Chichen Itza Guest Reviews
I will be requesting a refund for my trip to Chichen Itza as well as my stay at Uxmal. It was advertised as the best hotels in Mexico. the airconditioner in our room never worked and we spent 3 sleepless nights in 33C room. Finally, they changed our room with a working A/C, but there were literally hundreds of dead bugs on the canopy which the A/c then blew onto our bed. After cleaning off our sheets of bug carcasses, my husband used the sewing kit to try to close our canopy due to the amount of misquitos in the room. The bathroom floor towel had blood on it. The buffet was horrible and the restaurant was mediocre at best. Finally, speaking with the manager, we were given their finest suites for our last night with a working air conditioner. The overall experience was a total ripoff except for their friendly staff and beautiful grounds and location. I will never return to Mexico after this experience.

An elegant and beautiful hotel in the jungle. Perfect for a visit to the ruins at Chichen Itza.

Unfortunately, the night we were there a massive thunder storm knocked out the water and the air conditioning right before we went to bed. It was all back on when we awoke in the morning. However, the place is gorgeous, the staff is very attentive and the food was delicious. Even with the water and the air conditioning temporarily knocked out, it was still worth the trip and we would go there again. In fact we are planning on a two day stay next time.

Very nice hotel within 5 minutes walk of Chichen Itza. Well worth staying overnight and going to the site at 8.00am when it opens - there were only six people there at that time!!!

Beautiful place. I recommend it to anybody wanting to visit Chichen Itza or anybody that wants to just relax for a few days. Located within 500 ft from Chichen Itza (walking distance). Excellent food and services. A must visit.
