The Kib Kho Khao Island Beach Resort & Spa Guest Reviews
The Pro's: Great location! Right on the beach. No mass tourism at Kho Khao = u have the beach for yourself. All bungalows on resort are in excellent shape. Stylish and very clean. Pool area is good and children’s pool in shade appreciated. The con's: Service level in restaurant is really a joke! During our 12-day-stay at the resort they never managed to server us a meal we could enjoy together. They ALLWAYS forgot at least one dish (most often one of the kids dishes). The food itself was ok, but nothing more. The music entertainment in the evenings was even worse! Beach Bar has better service but way too expensive. The staff at reception does hardly understand English. All together though a good place to stay at. If you stay here (which I recommend in spite of the poor service level). Dine either at the restaurant at the Amandara Hotel (taxi = 50 baht) or at the lovely restaurant on your left hand side where you get off the ferries (called Big Fish or something...) Taxi=30 baht.
