Excellent hotel in great location. A bit dated in parts but it is about 130 years old and the current owners, Barcelo, have plans for refurbishment as advertised in the hotel reception. Service was as you would expect from a top hotel.

Badly in need of some upgrade.. the external of the building looks really grand but the internal is very dated.

Hotel was in a good location on the sea front, a few mins walk from the tower. Plenty of parking. Reception area very nice. Room was average size with a modern clean bathroom. Kettle with tea & coffee provided. Celling in need of some repair (damp patches and wallpaper hanging off) All staff were very helpful and friendly. I used my priority points to pay for most of the room rate, probably wouldn't have paid the full £95 if I didn't have these points. I enjoyed my stay at the Imperial.

A pleasant traditional hotel and we enjoyed our stay. The only reason service was not ratedas very good is that breakfasts are not served before 8am at weekends so we ordered by room service (at extra cost) and it totally failed to arrive one morning.
