When arrived staff was really helpful by assisting us with our luggage. Overall staff was superb. Our room though looked a bit tired with mould in bathroom and near window sill. I believe it was down to lack of extractor fan in the bathroom. Bed was nice and comfortable. Too bad there was no kettle in the room either as cups we provided. Breakfast was included in the price and was very good indeed with plently of choice including, tea, coffee, cereal can fruit and English breakfast. Location was convenient with just a stone throw away from nice restaurants and bars on oxford street and bus ride away from bondi beach and city central. Plus just 10 km away from the airport. Overall very nice stay but plenty room for improvement when it comes to room maintenance

All you need for a overnight or extended stay because of the proximity and the facilities offered . It is set in a very affluent area of Sydney but that is why we stay here away from the other rat races. All staff excell to accomodate your requests. We will always return.

Nice boutique hotel, room cleaning was very average, finding rubbish not cleaned off the floor for multiple days. Carpark gate is not always working automatically and can only half open.

My daughter was very disappointed when she couldn't leave her car in carpark as it was all booked out. That's ok! if it where true there was only a few cars parked all weekend. This was her first trip away in her car, she worried the whole time leaving her car on the street. I had checked a carpark months prier to her stay.I was aware payment could not be made untill she arrived. Not happy.

Loved the convenience of this b & b. Has a great atmosphere with all manner of unusual collectables. Loved the fact that dogs are allowed and is so close to Centennial Park. Our room did not have a remote control for the TV which worked, but this was fixed. Also the room was cold on arrival and had a bathroom window that could not be closed (cold August night). Staff friendly. Loved the paintings, books, memorabilia throughout building. Not your usual accommodation!

I am a long-standing client of this hotel and I can only say it gets betterb and better. As a "aged" one I like the restful situation in this hotel and find the staff v friendly and helpful. It is easy to relax there and all my family members who called in were made very welcome. Will stay again and again and again..

the cosy rooms are definitely only for over night stays and as we were booked for three nights we should have been given a bigger room for the other nights. it would appear that nearly all the staff are trainees but are all trying hard. I didn't ask for another room as the hotel had already honoured our posponed booking due to the floods here in Brisbane but it would have been nice to be offered as I did mention to reception of the space.

This was booked as a boutique hotel for a romantic weekend. It was fine for this, although an annexe ("terrace") room was allocated which lacked the "federation" character of the main building. The room allocated was very noisy from the traffic all through the night as it hadn't been properly double glazed. The staff did transfer us to a much quieter room for the second night, without fuss. The restaurant dinner was superb and well served though the restaurant was rather cramped. Breakfast was excellent too. There was no off-street parking available for the first night

Was an expensive hotel for the size of room and facilities. It suited us on this occasion to visit relatives from England who were staying with family nearby and thus saved us a lot of city travel. Wouldn't stay again from choice of location if visiting Sydney.

When we first arrived we were struck by the smallness of the room. It was as if one of us had to be either in bed or in the corridor for us to be comfortable. After a while we seemed to get used to being in such an enclosed space, but it was still uncomfortable and we began to not spend so much time actually in the room. There was very little shelf space and we found that we had to use something and then put it back in our travelling bags. During the course of the stay we mentally rearranged the room to give more space. TV up and 2 full shelves right across that wall. However we both enjoyed our 3 nights and feel that we will definitely return, but only to a larger room.
