The Hotel Arizona Guest Reviews
The Hotel Arizona is in downtown Tucson. It has a garage, but I would not want to drive my van through the tight curves to the upper floors. My compact was a tight enough fit. Check in was brusque and just short of rude--but check out (by the same person) was friendly and helpful. The room was fine. TV worked, bathroom had a light missing and broken ceiling tile. I wouldn't have noticed, except the ceiling was quite low in the bathroom, maybe 7 feet or less. The room overlooked the roof. The air conditioner worked. This was a business trip for me, so the convenient location and the price deal was more important than anything else. The room did have a desk, an easy chair and light where you needed it. That's all a plus for me. No fridge, no microwave.

[...]at the front desk made my feel at home. She answered every question I had, whether it was about downtown Tucson or the hotel. My room was lovely. In the future when I stay at the Hotel Arizona I will request that housekeeping be more attentive. I had to request that housekeeping refresh my room and when they replaced my coffee they did not leave any cups. :)

I went to visit family so hotel location was good. AC had a tough time staying current with the outside heat. Better ac would have made all the difference. luis

The only advantage of this hotel is being close to the Tucson Convention Center. The a/c doesnt work so it is dreadful during the summer. It was at least 85 degrees in the room at all times. Also the plumbing seems to have problem, had to have maintenance come up twice to plunge the toilet. The shower had no pressure behind it and was basically turning on a faucet. Also the cleanliness is suspect. Breakfast is avearge at best. I will definately not be returning here.

Pool inoperable.Reserved King got a double Queen with no discount.Arrived at 3 pm, couldn't get in til 3 pm. Weak breakfast. Bar not open til 5 pm.
