It was a relaxing stay and the staff was great we only wish the ski lift was opened.

Normally I always have a wonderful adventure when I go to Girdwood Hotel but this time the only thing that was bad was the room was not NEARLY as clean as I like it. There was NASTY stuff on the bathroom floor that I could not even be able to tell you what it was and then there where BIG toe nail clippings left on the floor and it was even in the bed that could have been taken care of. Now as for ORBITZ........ I am not happy with ORBITZ attaching itself to my application to get the room at Girdwood. I am not very internet savy and I thought I had gotten rid of your attachment and low and behold I did not. Had I been able to go through just Alyeska web site I would have gotten the room 30 dollars cheaper than what you charged me. Their direct price was only 129 dollars and you charged a 159 dollars so there for I will be advising people that you do NOT look out for our best interest.

We live in Anchorage and have made it a tradition to spend the weekend at Alyeska for my husband's birthday every year. Its wonderful! The view from the hot tub is great, the on site restaurants and convenient and fun, the tram to the top was very nice - the whole weekend was wonderful! We have noticed over the past few years that the TVs in the rooms have been updated as well - a big plus for my husband who likes to watch football in the mornings!

We loved our stay at the Hotel Alyeska. Before checking in we took the tram up and did a little hiking. We then had lunch on top of the mountain - beautiful views!! After that we watched the para-sailing. Our room was very nice with lots of extras! Unfortunately we had to leave first thing in the morning and were not able to check-out any of the hotel restuarants.
