This hotel location is NOT in Sukhumvit area and there's an error on the hotel's location and map location when you click it. It is located in Silom area and quite far from Sukhumvit!

Search this site and you'll find this hotel rated 3 star and located at Sukhumvit. It's nowhere near Sukhumvit - it is handily located within 2 minutes of a skytrain station in Silom. On checkin we were rudely told we were only entitled to one swipe card for the room - so could not charge batteries while out, or go our separate ways when necessary (I had work meetings; my partner was on holiday). Our room (810)'s bathroom had several maintenance issues: basin drainage was blocked and its cold tap leaked. Shower wildly fluctuated between scorchingly hot and icily cold. Shower door did not close, resulting in soaked bathroom floor. The concrete (ceiling/walls) was stained and peeling. The air conditioning was very noisy and the thermostat erratic. TV reception poor even though we only wanted news channels. At night room lighting was insufficient to read by - unless you sat in the bathroom. Some staff were very pleasant, others unhelpful to the point of being rude ("One room, one key!" and going through the difference between the free water and the pay-for water in the manner of talking to a child upon checkin). The proximity to the skytrain is excellent, especially if you want to be on that side of the city. But there are far better value hotels than this in Bangkok with cleaner, more modern, comfortable and functioning facilities.

The Hotel is in downtown.2 Mins walk to BTS Chongnosi and very convenient. Hotel room is large. I did not try the breakfast as there is a local foodcourt opposite the hotel. Pricing wise, it is reasonable charged. Strongly recommend to other travellers.

Location is fantastic, just right next to the BTS station and accessible to the major shopping areas. Room was dingy looking and nothing like what the pictures show. Shower never had a constant flow of warm/hot water and we had to keep adjusting.

The location is great for the price. Centre of street food eating - Soi Convent and Soi 20 is within walking distance. Even the eating place across the road has a variety of good food.

Pros: 1. It is very close to BTS Chong Nonsi (only 1 minutes walk); 2. Price is attractive; 3. Cool Conditioning Cons: a) Room lighting is very dim unless you open the curtian to capture day light; b) Unstable Hot Sater Supply - you could adjust with "very hot" or "cold"; c) Poor Housekeeping Service - I have to call front desk for towel, free drink water, toilet paper every day; d) Poor Room Security - I can't imagine how staff could use other key card to guide other guests entering my occupied room. It is luck that i was standing next to door for clothes tidy-up, and I could push back the door and block off their access. I did a serious complaint to front desk, however the answer i received is "sorry...yes, yes, yes, sorry.".

Location was all about our reason for choosing The Heritage Bangkok. Things got off to a rocky start when we were taken to rooms that were supposedly an upgrade. When we made the booking we were concerned that the site didn't have the room above a deluxe described as a Corner Suite (what the hotel calls it). On the site it is a junior suite, a room the hotel doesn't have. Not sure who the hotel called but whoever we were soon in our corner suites. Both rooms very different 502 two separate rooms, shower only; 715 one giant space with a huge bath (shower over). The room positives - huge room, comfy bed, lots of tv channels, wired and wifi internet. The negatives - noisy aircon even on lowest setting. Because the rooms are huge takes ages to cool them down. No sheer curtains - this is an issue because corner suites have floor to ceiling glass down both sides so it's either a room of darkness or "hello Bangkok". Rooms both very worn – someone had put a big hole in the wall above our bed and it had been patched up very poorly. Good breakfast that is open really good hours – 6am to 10am. Bar in lobby open 24 hours. All three of us had massages in the Senses Spa attached to the hotel that we voted very highly. Really nice staff all through the hotel. Watch out for charges at the bar up by the pool. 200 BHT corkage pp so three cheap beers became three very expensive beers (by Thai standards of course). As I said, location was very important to us. Hotel is directly across from Chong Nonsi BTS. Chong Nonsi is above the BRT (bus rapid transit) but we didn’t try it. Silom and the Patpong Night Market are less than a 10 minute walk away. I wouldn’t stay here again unless I knew the lesser rooms had sheer curtains. If they did, I'd book again but not waste the extra on a corner suite as they didn’t work for us at all.

I was put in a room on the second floor...the room faces a restaurant/bar and a narrow street with parked taxis (the taxi drivers would try to sell everyone everything...taxi rides...massage services. and more)...if you open the curtain in my room all these street people would see everything in my room...the street was extremely noisy all night long.. drunken bagpackers who would cry out a lot of words with umlaut, local peoople trying to sell all kinds of things, motor cycles racing through, cars....it was a nightmare which I did not need to fall into sleep to get...I would avoid this hotel at any costs the room appears to be clean at first...then I found on my bath towel (there was stuff that look like blood stains)...the drainage system probably did not work prorperly, so there was a strong foul oder coming from the toilet area of the bathroom.....they have one of those modern Asian AC units with a remote...at first, I thought that was a good sign...but it turned out the AC was extremely noisy, comparable to the noise level of those old window AC units found in a cheap, old and smelly motel by the highway in a poopr US state... they have two bath robes in my room..but the bathrobes had a very strong-weird smell (it was explained to me that the previous guests ordered the roomservice of "aroma body massage" offered by the massage parlor located on the first floor of the hotel"...so I guess by wearing the robe (either one of the two in my room), you would get some of that "nice" aroma from the previous guests and these nice massage ladies who look to be in their 60's

Good location with small room. The room was dark . The attitude of front desk manager was very bad. I though the training of the staffs was not enough. But this is only a 3-star hotel, how I could expect more.
