Interesting property with innovative ideas, will go back again.

The Hempel is a cool place to stay but for a design hotel not all of the design works and, in our room at least, the minimalist style was suffering from a lack of upkeep. As other boutique hotels have come along it needs to freshen up its image and make sure things get repaired and don't become tatty round the edges. Overall a good place to stay but there are probably better choices in the same price range.
