This hotel is fine. The staff are friendly. The rooms are nice. On the flip side. The lift is tiny and slow. The decor is a bit tired and the bathroom smelled a bit. I had to go to another hotel to book a meeting room, Nevertheless free internet, nice appartment, great location, great staff. This makes up for it all. b

We were upgraded from a studio to a suite. TV was poor which may have been the reason it was available. Internet access was great and location was ideal. This was the 2nd time we stayed here and will definitely use it again.

This is a well run aparthotel with good service in a very convenient location (2 mins from Gloucester Rd tube). Good kitchen, plasma screens, good free wireless etc. Rooms at the back are quiet, look out over gardens.

The experience with this hotel is depending on the room you get (due to availability etc). Some rooms (in the -1-floor) don't have Internet, some rooms don't have any view but if you're lucky (!) you get a room that's very nice. Wouldn't call this a 5 star hotel, but some rooms are really nice. If you get one of these and pay about £120-150 it's a very good deal. But remember to ask for a nice room!

Overall an average stay. The room size is ok for a studio apartment. Kitchen equipment are adequate. However the sounding proofing of the rooms are non existence. The couple next doors wakes up to cook breakfast 7am in the mrning and we can hear every clanging of the pans and cutlery. Looked at the floor plan and if you have the money, I highly recommend the 1 bedroom apartments which face the front of the building, with the lift between the two apartments, there wont be any 7am wake up noise!!!Plus you'll get two huge sunny windows with balcony!!

This is not a 5 star apartment as advertised! Rooms in basement have little natural light. The boiler was turned off resulting in not enough hot water for two showers, and staff were unapologetic about it. Bathroom floor wasn't clean upon check in and tea/coffee/bathroom supplies were not replenished during the stay. Big comfortable bed though. Overall there are better deals for the price of this place.

Good alternative to cramped hotel room. Fully equipped kitchen and a huge plasma TV on one wall made this a pleasurable stay.

Great location, you can see the building when exiting Gloucester Street station which is on the Piccadilly line - about 35 minutes from Heathrow. Tesco Express, Waitross, Pret a Manger & lots of restaurants in same block. Apartment & kitchen well equipped. Comfortable bed. An office chair would be good for people using apartment as an office. Also light over table is not working but staff brought me a lamp. Wireless booster needs to be upgraded as it only registered Very Low in the room, but excellent at front door of apartment. Liked the fact window opened. Anika Head Housekeeper)& all staff are very helpful. Would suggest that salt & pepper sachets be added to room as expensive & wasteful to buy at Waitross.

We would certainly stay again or recommend to friends. Clean and quiet with helpful staff on hand 24/7. Only negative was that the website offers an airport transfer and does not make it clear that the service is not complimentary. I arranged a transfer by phone and was not told that the driver would expect 57 pounds on arrival at the hotel. Take the tarain or tube--you're only about 100 yards from Gloucester Station.

Great location. Minuscule lift, but adequate for luggage - we used the stairs at other times (from 4th floor). Smallish bedroom with kingsize, comfortable bed - but watch your shins, as bed leg extends beyond mattress. Separate good-sized bathroom and kitchen.

I stayed for one night at the Avni...it was perfect and the reception staff were friendly and polite. My apartment was spacious with a large flat-screen tv in the livng room and the same in the bedroom. I slept very well in the big bed, and heard no noise at all from the leafy gardens my rooms looked upon. I prepared my food (bought from Tesco and Waitrose, just 50mts from the hotel)in the apartments smart kitchen. The bathroom was spotless and very tastefully designed with a white suite and plain stone-beige coloured tiles. There was parquet flooring throughout which suits me perfectly as I hate carpeting. Unfortunately I had no time to experience the rest of the Avni facilities. Altoghther a very pleasant experience, I will definitely stay at the Avni serviced apartments again.

Very nice place to stay. Close to everything, quiet street. Large apartment, 1 large bedroom, 1 large livingroom, nice kitchen, and a small bath. Love to stay here again.

The accomodation seemed small for an appartment, was more a bedsit. Cleanliness was not great, with hair on the bedside table and a lot of dust. Shower was hard to operate effectively.

Wonderfully appointed apartments in one of the best neighbourhoods in London. The underground station is a two minute walk away, and shops and restaurants are all within walking distance.I would definitely stay there again.

A very nice property, good decor, great bathroom, but take care with the room that you receive. A connecting room will allow you to hear the breathing of your neighbors, and some lower floor rooms windows overlook a wall.--Dark & dreary.
