very good location, staff were very friendly, only had one meal which was breakfast and found this a bit pricey.

The hotel has a good style about it: it looks fresh but stylish and grand. The cocktail bar is probably the stand out feature. It's worth noting its proximity to the musical 'Wicked' which is a few hundred metres away.

Just returned from a great weekend in London with friends primarily for Remembrance Day. We chose the Hotel for it's location and reputation, we were not disappointed. On arrival we were meet by efficient staff. Our travelling friends we booked in swiftly to their room, unfortunately our room wasn't ready ( we arrived before booking in time 1500), a quick room change by the staff meant we out and about in London before 1500. Well done. Our rooms were at the back of the Hotel which backed onto Victoria Station, there was very little noise (train announcements) until after 0800. The rooms was not small and were well appointed, the bathroom was clean with a fantastic power shower. The air-conditioning was efficient and not too noisy, coupled with a comfortable bed ensured a pleasant stay. Our room was supplied with a iron and ironing board. We did not eat in the Hotel but these areas looked of a high standard. The only criticism from my Wife regarded a poorly powered hair-dryer. We tend to book different Hotels on our week-end visits to London, but would like to return to the Grosvenor if possible. Well done the Grosvenor.

Yes, the entrance was impressive and beautiful. However, room was small and same as any 3* hotel, could hear train traffic and noise all night, carpet was stained and there was no hot water on the Saturday morning. We were told it would take a few hours to fix and that we had to check out without showers. Not exactly the end we wanted to our honeymoon.

Great location for Victoria, Buckingham Palace and good starting point for other areas. Great hotel, very comfortable though we were located in the annexe and it wasn't possible to use one lift journey to access our room. Staff were very helpful, nothing too much trouble for them. Breakfast a little expensive at £12 per head.

The hotel is in a very good location, adjacent to Victoria station and underground. (Access direct from the station just to the left of the train ticket office). Just a 10 minute walk from buckingham Palace. The room was small but comfortable and clean BUT...there was NO hot water in the morning, not sure if there was a fault with the system or it simply could not cope with the demand at this time of the morning.(07:30).

This is a disclaimer: we went at off season (end Oct) and we booked at a good price as we choose the option of non-refundable rate. The hotel location is amazing - walking distance to most london attractions. The hotel design is a palace which is really amazing. We have enjoyed big time - despite at one day - there was no hot water but we got a dicount a 25% on room rate for that day. the other thing the room was a bit small for 2 people - specially the toilet size. everyhting else is really good.

If you are able to stay at discounted rates this hotel is worth a visit. Its location makes it very convenient. Public spaces within the hotel are beautiful but the standard rooms are just that - rather small but adequately furnished - no coffee or tea making facilities, no safe in the room, clean everywhere except under the bed!! We opted to stay in the hotel for breakfast, day one there was lots of space, lots of food choices but day two very cramped - queued for a table, queued for hot food and had to wait for almost everything to be replenished, luke warm tea etc...not what you expect at such a grand hotel. Luckily we were offered free breakfasts due to the fact the hotel had a boiler failure and there was no hot water in the whole building - at Full price £18 you may have been a little less forgiving. To the hotels credit an alternative hotel for showering etc was offered, sometimes problems do occur and the staff tried to deal with the issue as best they could. All in all, would I stay there again - yes if I could get a good deal again. Did it meet my expectation - not quite.

Fantastic stay at the Grosvenor. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Room was great - really clean and the bed was very comfy. Hotel was lovely - the refurbishment was fab and everywhere was spotless. Location was great - easy to catch a bus rit outside, or a nice stroll down Victoria Street to Westminster. A great stay. Would recommend and would definitely stat again.

We stayed here a few years ago and were left thinking small rooms and average most things, however, this time the hotel has undergone a big refurbishment and rebranded to the more upmarket Guoman name. They have done a great job, the bars, rooms, food and especially the staff were first class.

The location is great, just 5min from Buckingam palace. I had a standard double room, EXTRAORDINARY SMALL, not enough space for 2. The wing rooms are not so good, but I'd expect much more for almost 200 euros/night. The breakfast is more that 20pounds, POOR, scrambled egg from powder, DO NOT TRY, not worth it. Staff helpfull, but it not worth the price!

the welcome was excellent - the staff was excellent, apart from when we rang reception for a hairdryer - when the lady arrived with a hairdryer she asked if she could check the room - she asked to look in the cupboard, drawers etc which i found to be very rude and derogatory and felt unhappy with her attitude. Apart from that all staff were polite.

First room given was a twin bedded room which was tiny and only suitable for children perhaps but was upgraded to a fantastic room on the first floor. My husband rang from Australia to speak to me and was told that I was not staying at the hotel and after he insisted I was, got put through to my room. I booked an extra 6 hours (check out at 6pm)at 60 pounds as my flight was not until the evening at 9.30 pm and was told had I asked for a quote on the day I was leaving I would have been charged 20 pounds an hour for extension of stay as prices had gone up the day I was leaving! Excellent location and facilities nearby were extremely good. Entry via Victoria station was handy but no one to help with bags if this entrance was used- several steps to reception area. Breakfast was rather pricey at 21 pounds! therefore never had breakfast there. Several theatres nearby, restaurants and pubs. Would stay again but will not book a twin room

I thought this hotel was excellent in general. the only reason I havent marked it highly in every category is that I visited with my Sister and we shared a twin room, unfortunately the room was very small and made it hard for us to move around without bumping into each other. We were offered another larger room on check in, but this had only one double bed so it wasnt suitable. Having said that we couldnt fault the facilities, staff, and service. All were excellent. We were dissapointed with the breakfast, which was not up to the general standard of the hotel. It was hurried, the service from the waiting staff was poor and the food was cold. They didnt even put condiments on the tables in the restaurant! So we wouldnt do that again.

We travelled by train to London for an overnight stay. We arrived at the Hotel just after midday and booked in but were unable to have our room until later in the afternoon which wasn't a problem. We left the luggage with the Concierge and then visited Kensington Palace (excellent). On our return we were allocated our room which had been upgraded to Executive and we had only paid Standard price. We attended a Prom at the Albert Hall (fantastic). We also visited the Royal Academy of Art which again was fantastic. The Hotel staff were courteous and friendly. The only minus was the cost of breakfast - we ate outside the Hotel. This Hotel is close to Victoria Station (there was very little noise), we used the buses and found we got to every location easily. The doorman and Concierge staff were very helpful as well as reception. 5* treatment. We didn't use any amenities at the Hotel.

When the manager noticed my party included people who had difficulty in walking, he immeditely ask the receptionist to change their room to the main wing so that they wouldnt have to walk so much.
