The Grand Summit Hotel At Canyons Resort Park City Guest Reviews (3)
Second time staying at the Grand Summit. I love the access to the skiing right out the door. The hot tubs and pool are great for relaxing after a day of skiing. Only a short drive from Park City where we enjoyed some great dinners and shopping.

We have stayed at this hotel for many years now and usually love it. However, this year when we got there the pool and hot tubs were closed "indefinitely." The on site restaurant was not open- had become a catering facility. Took two days to get a manager to agree let us move to a resort that had the amenities we paid for. Several days of being told that our complaints were "baseless" because they had a pool they could shuttle us to in 20 degree weather, but we would have to wait for the shuttle wet or not. I must admit that part of the problem was the representatives of the company we booked this trip through. They did not understand the language or the situation and so after two days, we finally spoke to a very helpful intelligent representative who spoke to the manager of the hotel and she was able to arrange for us to move and to get a refund for our unused nights. Although still waiting for the refund to appear on our card. PS- There is a new restuarant next door to the property that is amazing but have to walk outside to access it. And there is no longer room service. This hotel used to have great custmer service. The reservation manager is not customer orientated or business smart. So sadly after many years we can not chance returning. Too many days of our trip were wasted because of the reservation manager and the representative from the third party company we booked with.

The hotel, staff and amenities were very good, but not where did it say they would be under construction and many of the facilities were closed for the fall season. We did enjoy Park City!
