The Georgian Terrace looks inviting from the outside, but the rooms are below standard. The hotel is 100 years old, and the rooms definitely show the age. The rooms smell weird, the heating barely works. Overall a bad experience, considering this is one of the seemingly nicer hotels in mid-town. Definitely won't be staying there again...not in a 100 years!

I stayed for one night after an exhausting trip from Japan. The staff was pleasant, however, the 18th floor looked as though it just went through CHEAP renovations as did my room. The new paint needed another two coats, the ceiling in the bathroom was peeling and there was construction and lots of noise outside my window all night. The room service menu was unappetizing. Being that I couldn't sleep, I decided to start getting ready for an early morning departure. I needed to iron a shirt and had no ironing board--I had an iron and no ironing board. So I called and asked for an ironing board---TWO hours later, no ironing board! I called again and they finally brought it to me and still expected a tip. But that was after the guy came in and checked my closet to make sure i didnt miss it. THEN he went to get an ironing board. I was a bit irritated. At checkout, I was charged $70 for local calls! They regarded it as long distance. When I asked about it, they were kind and removed it from my bill. Valet was $30. In spite of the staff's friendliness for the most part, I won't be returning.

Awesome suite - great location - great roof top pool that you can actually do laps in - wireless internet connectivity was horrible... but access through the hotel computer in the business center worked well.

Great hotel to stay in, beautiful architecture in and out, and neat history. Located downtown opposite Fox Theater. Convenient to tourist sites such as the Georgia Aquarium (fantastic) and the Atlanta Botanical Garden. Rooms completely updated in a contemporary, minimalist style, flatscreen TVs with satellite. Only wish there was a safe in the room. Livingston, their restaurant, serves some excellent dinner meals. Would definitely stay here again.

Stayed at the Georgian Terrace while in town for a convention. Short walk from the train station, spacious room with a great view and they have a rooftop pool! One negative, when I checked in there was a pool of water on the floor outside of the bathroom. After calling the front desk, I was in a new room in 10 minutes.

If it wasn't directly across from The Fox, I would have never stayed here... and probably won't again. They made me wait 30 mins to check-in because 'my reservation wasnt in the computer yet' Ummmm I booked by computer!!! Missed dinner reservations as a result. Not impressed with the building, the process, or the staff. Overrated!

Room was standard, small but had all I needed and comfortable. A/C had trouble keeping up with 100 degree temps outside during afternoon but eve's fine. Restaurant had good food,Kobe Beef Sliders to die for. Parking price steep but right in middle of downtown Atlanta, staff friendly and helpful.

Went here for a braves game. The hotel charges $30 a day to park. That was my only complaint. We got there at noon and our room wasn't ready until 3. So no early check in. The room was very clean and quite. It is only a couple of blocks from the train station. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. They held or bags until the room was ready. I will definitely stay here again but will find somewhere else to park.

The Terrance was a great way to spend the week while in Atlanta. The hotel was conveniently located next to major restaurants and the views on the sunroof pool area where marvelous. A unique hotel with a unique experience. I do feel that the meals at the Livingston were a bit overpriced for the quality and quantity of food presented but the staff added to the experience. The only wish I would have for the hotel was that it provided a shuttle to major areas of Atlanta.

I stayed here for 8 nights while attending the Atlanta Gift Show in July. Fabulous, courteous staff, very comfortable beds, spacious rooms, and many different room configurations. Kitchen, anyone? A washer and dryer! I loved coming back here at the end of the day, relaxing on the beautiful terrace with my new favorite drink, "The Livingston," from the Livingston restaurant attached to the hotel. Many other dining opportunitites in the neighborhood that you can't get downtown. 5-minute Marta ride to the Mart...incredibly convenient. You can get a 3-bedroom, 3-bath if you want to share with friends!

The staff is amazing in their friendliness and helpfulness. The room service breakfast service was lacking on the weekend with missing silverware, etc. The room was kept very clean and smelled great--no summer musty smell.

After 10 Days we have realized that the problems in this hotel are not employee driven, but management driven. First room A/C not working. Second room promised washer and dryer missing. Third room stove broken, microwave and fridge have missing lights..get lights fixed, promises of a new stove tomorrow and guess what...A/C goes out, no engineer OR manager on duty at 10 pm...finally completely moved to pent house suite at 1:30am. Warning...big pretty suite..:even simple toilet paper will not flush. "we are do high up" only 19 floors. Nothing like being all soaped up in the shower and the water..stopping...just goes away for a few minutes! But hey, talk to Brad, a manager, make an appt to meet him in your room at 8:30 am to discuss all your issues...to save him from us discussing them loudly in the lobby. Guess what, at 9:30am when we inquired at front desk where Brad was....he was off. We are so important! Not!!

Very nice hotel, the lobby and business center are gorgeous. The room was clean, we had a double queen bed and it included a kitchen, large bathroom, laundry room and double closet. We had two days there so we didn't utilize those but what a nice room. We enjoyed the location as it was near everything we were doing in Atlanta. We can't wait to come back and see a show at the Fox Theater right across the street. Self parking at the garage next door for $25 a night, in line with the other downtown hotels.

We had problems with the checking in and getting locked out of our room the night before check out.the people were helpful with helping to straightening out the problems. However, they seemed to either have problems with their current program/computer [...] it made things really difficult due to i was traveling with an elderly person. the hotel was nice but their procedures need some work or better communication is needed!!!!

The hotel proper was beautiful, historic, very grand, felt like I was in the Atlanta of" Gone with the Wind " nearby many restaurnats and a easy walk to a MARTA station. But the room was very tiny,,, bathroom also small with cracked tiles and a leaking toilet; had to call the front desk twice before it was fixed. But still loved the hotel because even though the room was small, it was very nice.
