The Gateway Hotel Beach Road Calicut Guest Reviews
The hotel is situated in a quiet area in central Kozhikode, and has a high standard on everything, including rooms, lobby and restaurant. Very eager staff. Pool is excellent. Newspaper every morning, with content! My only irritation was the automatic music in the restaurant and lobby. They seem to have only one CD, and after 10 days I knew the CD by heart, and I did not like the music. I did not find BBC or CNN on the TV, but Deutsche Welle and the french T5. Easy to get internet acess, both Wifi and broadband. Cheap. Laundry service excellent.
