Location
Frangipani Resort & Spa is on the southwest part of Langkawi, five and a half kilometres away from Langkawi International Airport. During free time, holidaymakers can tee off at Langkawi Golf Club or shop at The Zon Duty Free.
Rooms
All 118 beautiful rooms, suites and villas have private terrace/balcony, air conditioning/ceiling fan, satellite TV, electronic safe, coffee/tea maker, hairdryer and en suite bathroom. Villas and suites have iron/board and villas come with outdoor shower.
Restaurant
Mentari Grill at Resort & Spa Frangipani boasts of delectable Chinese bestsellers, Malay dishes, Indian favourites, Nonya cuisines, Thai cooking and international food.

Additional Information
- NOTICE: The Frangipani Langkawi Resort & Spa will be upgrading and refurbishing rooms in phases from mid Mar 2012 till June 2012. The refurbishment works will only be affecting the rooms in the right wing of the resort and are minimum 40 meters away from the rooms in the left wing as the resort is 250 meters long along the beach.

Managed to get good low rates for my stay. Pleasant stay, location was quite secluded but not far from the shops and restaurants. Facilities were average, could be better improved with upgrade. Love the 'Go Green' effort by the hotel. Breakfast was average. Felt that I got a 3 star hotel with a 4 star hotel rate. Overall, had an enjoyable stay, but might not consider coming back if rates are not low.

Managed to get excellent hotel rates, much lower then other available booking sites. Reception was slightly slow, but otherwise very helpful. Requested for king bed and called a night before to confirm, however upon arrival only managed to get it after changing 3 rooms. Location very near to the airport & shops. Very quiet, good for relaxation. Feel that its a 3 star hotel with 4 star rate, but with good rates it was worth the trip.

We enjoyed our few days here and found everything to be more than adequate for our needs. If you are conscious about the environment this hotel is a 'green hotel' and leading the way in environmental / green practices in Langkawi (and it seems Malaysia)

We arrived at 11 noon,our standard room not ready. We went away and come back at 12.30 noon and was told room not ready until 3pm. Waited until 3.05pm finally room is ready.(4 hr waiting) They are keeping the ready room from us and letting us wait for the room which is still occupied and will be check out by 3pm.Finally we argue a little and another person gave us a ready room for us,which is available all time when we are there...The earlier room that they gave us still not ready till 3pm.I wonder why they never gave us the ready room,as they have plenty of those rooms and they made us waited for a room which is still occupied...Staff is confused and not professional at all. Food found cockroaches and lizard going around the buffet area...birds are jumping to tables when eating time...not clean place... Staff not friendly.
