The Famous Wild Boar Hotel Guest Reviews
Quiet location, roughly one mile from Windemere Golf Club. You are reminded that it was an old coaching house - especially if you're over 6 foot - every time you bump your head when leaving the bar-restaurant. The staff were pleasant and helpful. My only complaint was that the shower in my room seemed to suffer from prostate problems - more of an dribble than a shower. Apart from that minor problem, the general service, the English breakfast, and the location made for an enjoyable and restful few days in a beautiful part of the country.
