Location
20 minutes outside of Vancouver in the neighborhood of Richmond, the Fairmont Vancouver Airport Hotel is on the premises of the Vancouver International Airport. You can be from your room to the baggage terminal in two short minutes.
Rooms
There are 392 rooms available, from standard to the Fairmont Signature Deluxe rooms, all with views of the airport runways (windows are completely soundproofed), the sea, or the mountains. Rooms have a safe, minibar, coffeemaker, TV, bathrobes, iron, phone, desk, and air conditioning. For guests with sensitive allergies, there are hypo-allergenic rooms available.
Restaurant
The Fairmont Vancouver serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner 7 days a week at the Globe@YVR Restaurant. The Jetside Bar is a relaxed pub with 5 televisions, and is a great place to unwind with a beer or a cocktail.

Another beautiful Fairmont property in an excellent location - if the airport is your thing! Almost worthwhile arriving late just for an excuse to stay the night. Just don't get there too late, and enjoy a little luxury.

We found this hotel one of the best we stayed at on our tour. The room was ready for us when we wrrived - most of the hotels we stayed at even though we had booked for three (me & two sisters) either the third bed was not in the room, the extra cups etc we not in the room or the bed was so uncomfortable whoever slept on it woke up with a back ache. We even recommended it to a couple on our tour who had a night before flying home and they stayed there and sent me an email thanking me for recommending your hotel they were rapt. Congratulations.

The Fairmont Airport Hotel is not located near the airport. It is literally in the airport. Ideal if you have an early morning flight. Everything about the hotel was first class. Would stay there again.

One of the best airport hotel that I have stayed in. Excellent room overlooking the runways and the mountains in the background. Very quiet. Check-out can be extended to 3 pm which is most helpful. Highly recommended by this traveller.
