Beautiful old hotel decorated in keeping with the tone of the building. Top class meals provided and the complimentary welcome drink was a lovely touch.

We just love this exclusive hotel. It's beautifully decorated the location is exquisite and it's got charm. We will come again and again.

A perfectly located and well maintained hotel. Staff were excellent and the breakfast in the morning was not able to be faulted. A very nice place to stay and would recommend it to eveeryone.

This is a boutique hotel with a history and lots of charm. Owner and staff were delightful - helpful and very accomodating to a guest who worked very late one evening and was back after official "curfew" of 11.00 pm. Situated in Devonport - a short ferry boat ride to downtown Auckland provided a stressfree connection to the business centre of Auckland. Free parking nearby the hotel, and no need to use the car to do business. Hotel is opposite the ferry wharf and has views to and across the harbour - lovely walks along the foreshore and to the headland are available. I found it a great change from downtown accomodation, even although I had business there.
