Location
The Datai Hotel is ideally situated in the island of Langkawi, on the northern part of Peninsular Malaysia. During leisure, holidaymakers can visit Langkawi Crocodile Farm and Ibrahim Hussein Museum Langkawi several kilometres away.
Rooms
The elegant and well-furnished rooms, suites and villas are outfitted with air conditioning, ceiling fan, satellite TV, DVD player, safe deposit box, telephone, hairdryer and private bathroom. Some villas come with plunge pool.
Restaurant
Diners at The Datai Langkawi savour delectable Thai, Malaysian, Indian and Western dishes at Malay House, The Pavilion, The Dining Room, The Beach Club and The Gulai House on site.

The Datai Hotel Langkawi patrons can rejuvenate at The Spa, play a match on the tennis courts and swim in the two outdoor pools. NOTE: The Datai Bay Golf Club will be closed for renovation starting November 2011 up to the second quarter of 2013. The Gulai House is closed until January 2012.

Great romantic hotel. Fantastic location,had a wonderfull 3 nights there wish it was longer, will be back. Great food at the Gulai house restaurant. very relaxing. 5 stars.

This is an exceptional hotel - right up there with the best in the world in terms of style, service & luxury. It's not cheap, but given the standard, it's actually quite good value for money. Make sure you indulge in the spa treatments & eat at the superb thai restaurant.

Very very expensive - but worth it as a special treat. On this occasion you really do get what you pay for. This is the nicest hotel I''ve stayed in so far.
