Sprawled out along the beautiful bay, The Dana on Mission Bay is close to the San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park and the Wild Animal Park. The hotel is adjacent to Sunset Park and a short drive from Seaport Village and downtown.

The Dana On Mission Bay Hotel San Diego Guest Reviews
Mission Bay beauty with sailboats and other water-related activities. Lovely garden courtyard settings and lushly-landsacped grounds. But rooms and baths were small and lacked space to move around. $14 daily charge for parking was waived, but why charge it at all? Driving is the only way to get to the hotel.

The room was very clean and I loved that there was a microwave and fridge in my room (since I have an infant with me, these items were priceless!). The bathroom was very basic (toilet and a tub - but who needs anything extra) and very clean. The sink area was right when you walk in the room and the fridge and microwave are adjacent to it. I was able to wash bottles, etc. right there and use the microwave with my sterilizer pouch conveniently. My room was located not far from the pool and The Blue Pearl. It's a very lush, tropical setting and I enjoyed it a lot. We did not pay for parking (it's $18/day). Instead, we opted to part at the empty lot next to the restaurant and just walk a little further to get to our room. If you pay for parking, your spot is right in front of your room. The lobby is beautiful and very inviting. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and I feel for the money, it was such an amazing value.

Loved the hotel, location to mission beach, down town, tory hills and all the other great little pockets Easy to find, access and fun place to explore Nice a quiet with 2 large pools We will be back (soon I hope!!)

Last minute booking, great rate. Wow, room was far better than expected, clean, excellent sundries, robes and pool towels in room, fat towels in bathroom, short walk to restaruants.

The hotel is at a very good location. Great breakfast restaurant and nice rooms. We enjoyed the swimming pool with all the tropical plants.
