Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Great location, very handy for the tube - right next door. This is our 4th year in a row we have stayed here - always see a couple of shows and do the sales on Oxford Street. Highly recommended.

Great room, and a lovely breakfast. Best of all, the staff upgraded us to an executive room free of charge on the day of our arrival. Really helped us kick off our trip in style.

Best hotel I have ever stayed in. Great location ideal for shopaholics as its on the corner of Oxford street and next to an underground station.

We had 2 executive rooms and one single on first floor. We couldn't fault the hotel. even getting completely disorientated going from room to room, added to the fun! Everything very clean, beds lovely and comfy, even pillows perfect!. I was pleasantly surprised at good size and layout of single room. One of doubles had been adapted for disabled, especially the bathroom but this didn't really matter. Windows double glazed so no draughts and room temperature easily programmable. Only down side, one room above night club and music going until 4 am (but it was New Years Eve), 2 got noise from traffic. However, the single room had no view but no noise! All in all, a very successful stay and made to feel welcome by all staff.

Arrived to be told we could have a bigger room at the annexe next door. difficult to part near as double yellow lines in front of hotel. there was no water for a shower etc, had to go out for the evening without being able to shower or shave. we complained and told an engineer was coming! He never arrived. people coming in during the early hours of the morning screaming etc. water was working in the morning no apology or explanation until we complained on leaving. told there was a water burst!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a great hotel. I only gave it four stars as I had one issue, where I got to my room which hadn't been cleaned from the previous occupant. HOWEVER, one phone call, I got sincere apologies with a room upgrade. All modern fittings. Great customer service. The hotel bar 'Carbon' is great, 50% for hotel guests. 85 quid incl. tax. - I couldn't get a better room or location for that money.

Great location and good price given the location...everything else about the building, room, etc..would not convince me to stay there. the service was pretty good.

Ideally located top of Oxford Street at Marble Arch - what could be better ? The beds are too soft but the service and cleanliness just about makes up for it. In recent weeks we have stayed overnight when returning from Paris and Gran Canaria - the staff happily stored our heavy luggage and we took with us just what w needed - great service. We are in UK at least twice a year and recommend The Cumberland for short stays - take a flat if staying for a while !

When you go out on the street, turn left and left again = you are in Oxford street! Perfect if you want shooping. The Cumberlang hotel is a very nice modern hotel with really good comfort. If I missed something - yes; I missed a sofa or two chears inside the room, but that's all I'd had to "complain" about!

The Cumberland Hotel is ideally located and the local Marble Arch tube station is right next door allowing easy access to the rest of London. The Hotel staff were welcoming, pleasant and accommodating. The room was very clean, modern and well equipped. I will definitely stay at the Cumberland Hotel the next time I visit this area.

Very well placed London 4* hotel, expected a far better experience than received. Upon arrival, it took nearly an hour to check-in (& only 1 person infront of us). Staff spoke poor english, were very slow using their systems and general check-in procedures. Breakfast was a disaster.Having confirmed time and booking upon arrival, were turned away very unceremoniously and rather curtly by the 'lady with the list'. No further customer service or apology offered. Would not return due to non-existant customer service.

Hi, This seemed like it would be a decent quality hotel, however, unfortunately it is right next to a pub and nightclub. Our room was facing out towards this and so in our room we could hear the music and on a Saturday night it was pretty loud. Luckily we were staying there after a wedding at another hotel so we came back some time after 1am and were pretty tired so we slept ok. However, I suggest if you stay there and want some quiet it's worth asking to face inwards on be on a quieter side. The redeeming feature was that checkout wasn't till 12pm so we could have a good lie in. All in all an ok hotel, but I don't think it was worth what we paid and due to the noise I wouldn't stay there again.

Perfect location next to Marble Arch and a tube station. Wonderful modern lobby, but rooms were small. Helpful staff who organised an early check in for me after long flight. You can walk straight out onto Oxford Street, and the tube will get you anywhere else you want to go.
