I read a few reviews before I went, and some were off putting. I did however enjoy my stay, we had a King size room. We recieved everything we paid for. The room was clean and comfy. The breakfast buffet was as expected. The staff were friendly and helpful. Overall a very plesant experience, no complaints.

Good sized room presented very clean and fresh. Staff went out of their way t o help. Close to all transport and short walk to all shopping. Highly recommended for its excellent va.ue

A very comfortable, modern hotel in a historic building just near the Dam Square. Perfect for exploring central Amsterdam on foot and only a short tram trip to Central Station. Very well run hotel.

The reception staff are particularly helpful and the location is perfect, we walked everywhere.

I would not stay here again. The room was very small, the view was of the wall of the building next door and the hall was musty. OK for a 2 star, but it's no 4 or 5 star, which we were expecting for the price. The location is pretty good, near the shopping areas, but it's overpriced.
