Next to Grant Park, on the famous Michigan Avenue, you can walk outside the front door of the hotel and be within blocks of Adler Planetarium, Soldier Field, and two college campuses.
Each of the 850 spacious and well-decorated room comes appointed with a coffeemaker, hairdryer, phone, cable television, and luxurious toiletries. Many rooms have gorgeous lake views. The Congress Plaza Hotel Michigan Avenue By Grant Park Guest Reviews (140)
I've stayed at the Congress before. The original sections of the hotel are lovely. This time they put me in "Buckingham Tower", a building attached to the Congress. The carpet was terrible, the air conditioning struggled to keep up, (It was 80 degrees outside) the ice machine in the hall leaked all over the floor and there was an unidentifiable odor. I don't think I'll go back.

Found a great deal to stay here. Only complaint was some mechanical noises at night

The hotel was clean and service was quick. It is within easy walking distance of some of Chicago's most famous attractions including Millennium Park and many shopping and dining opportunities. Despite being in a busy area, it was peaceful, quiet and serene inside for the entire stay. Overall a great value and excellent location to explore Chicago.

I booked 2 rooms through your site. Each room was to be a queen standard room. I called the hotel 2 weeks before to tell them that we along with our couple friends would like to be next to each other. She put that down on our reservations. When we arrived, not only were we not next to each other, we were in total opposite wings of the hotel. Our room was a small queen room, but, the toilet didn't flush. We were then upgraded to a King room which was right next to our friends. Our friends' room was also a king room from the very beginning and about twice the size of our's. Why would we be charged the same amount of money and booked the same rooms and us be given a small queen room originally and our friends be given the very spacious king room? That doesn't make sense. It was very disappointing that that occurred. I'm just happy that our toilet didn't flush so that we got moved up to a decent sized room.
