The Clarendon Hotel London
2 out of 5

The hotel describes their bedrooms as "spacious" - what an overstatement! The room was so small that there was about 2 feet between the wall and the end of the bed with basically no room to go to the bathroom.. We had 2 suitcases and there was no place to pack them away and very limited hanging / packing place for our clothes. They even had to store a chair in the cub board as there was no place for it in the room - reducing the hanging space even more. It was hot in the room and we could not control the heat and had to open the window. A lot of street noise through the night kept us awake. At 24 Pounds for breakfast it is also tremendously expensive..

Booked this hotel as part of a weekend theatre break we had in London recently, mainly for the location (fairly central). We found it to be a very comfortable and clean hotel in a quiet location with friendly, helpful staff. Would book again.

Great. Arrived to discover they had upgraded me to an executive room. Bit strange to be in the basement, next to the street. But still quiet enought. Big room and huge bathroom.

Great location, but the hotel room was a little small. The room size is ok for for one night but any longer then you might stuggle.
