friendly reception, room allocated on first floor off corridor undergoing refurbishment. Room looked out on to back of hotel flat roof. Dull and uninspiring view with grey outlook and water cascading throughout the night ? from blocked gutters. Room clean and warm. Breakfast good and hearty, despite running out of kippers! Friendly staff lent me an umbrella and offered complimentary coffee in the lounge. Housekeeper obliging in allowing me to stay after check out until 1pm. An improving hotel

Reception not very friendly Food expensive and not wonderful Comfortable room Why not use proper coat hangers the ones they have wont take the weight of a pair of trousers I was constantly picking them up from the floor. Ironing board but no iron? Great shower hot and powerful! Room was probably very clean but th estat of the decoration left me feeling it was not. 105 is very noisy constant door banging till midnight!

Advertised wireless internet connection but it didn't work and cable given for room internet connection didn't work either. The primary reason for booking this hotel was internet access as i was over on business so would probably not book this hotel again.
